Terrorcore Publishing LLC has licensed the rights to produce the official novelization of the 1986 horror slasher Slaughter High, written and co-directed by Mark Ezra. A group of former high school bullies is invited to their five-year class reunion at the now-abandoned Doddsville County High School, only to find themselves trapped in a sadistic game of revenge. Years earlier, they humiliated a nerdy outcast named Marty, leaving him horribly disfigured and burned in a cruel prank gone wrong. Now, someone wearing a grotesque mask is picking them off one by one. As the night descends into chaos, the former classmates realize that high school may be over, but Marty's vengeance has just begun.
@calebjamespecue has signed on to write the novelization, which, at the time of writing this announcement, is over two-thirds the way complete. @creepycarvesdesign has signed on to create the original artwork.
The novelization will be available in deluxe hardback, paperback, and eBook formats on April Fools Day 2026, in time for the 40th anniversary of the movie’s original release.
